This past year, we’ve studied how we are all rescued through Jesus. He reaches down and draws us from the deep waters we often tread in this world and brings us out into an open, safe place because we are His children. This past year, we’ve experienced a new level of frustration, fear, and for some a feeling of separation from others. Throughout this time though, we have had our champion, our rescuer, and savior keeping us safe and showing us the way to live and treat others here on earth. Each and every day, our Lord helps us because we are His children; He delights in us as we are His creations!
Our challenge for LTC 2021 is for all of us to proclaim our Lord and Savior to the world. No other is worthy of the praise that comes from his sacrifice on the cross which brings each of us who believe in Him salvation and hope until He comes again. In this year’s book we’ll study, angels numbering thousands upon thousands and ten thousand times ten thousand proclaimed our Lord to have ultimate power through his sacrifice as a lamb to save us all.
We are proud to announce that the theme for LTC 2021 is “Worthy” and we’ll be studying the book of Revelation. The book of Revelation offers comfort and encouragement to us that God is firmly in control. When the time is right, the forces of evil that seem to dominate our world will be destroyed, and God’s eternal kingdom will come into its fulfillment. Of the many themes revealed by John, we are going to focus ourselves on how Jesus the Lamb is the one worthy to receive power, riches, wisdom, might, honor, glory and blessing. We are saved by the One who is most worthy and can rely upon Him for our lives here on earth and in heaven. Throughout this year and forevermore, your challenge is to add your voice of the thousands of angels to declare Him most worthy. Praise be to our Lord and blessings upon all of you, His children!
